As the Development Manager, Laura oversees all institutional giving, implements fundraising initiatives and develops strategic plans to generate support for Marquis Studios programs. She researches opportunities, develops proposals, and manages the grant cycle for a wide range of foundation, government and corporate partners. She regularly collaborates with the Education team to assess and advance grant-funded programming.

She was lucky to attend a public school with a robust arts program, giving her firsthand experience in how access to the the arts can be a game-changer for students. She attended Reed College in Portland, OR, where she received a B.A. in Studio Art. Laura first joined Marquis Studios as an intern in 2015, and worked as a member of the Operations team before taking on the role of Development Manager. She currently lives in Queens where she enjoys cooking and taking naps with her cats.
